That new IMF inter country bond is a brilliant idea, and now they must play with the idea some more, it’s the solution… it’s a ‘peace weapon’.
Naturally some central bankers out their wont like it, and will throw a tantrum or ten, but it’s the solution and it’s a very powerful concept.
Now these three super powers will be able to coexist.
Thank goodness Russia, China and the USA has people that are smarter than Bloomberg economists ;)

On natural market conditions, and given the fact that China is the most important emerging market, the Far East population (Primorsky, Khavarovsk, Sahalin etc) and economy should be the one with highest growth in the Russian Federation. If there is a land of opportunities it should be the Russian Far East. Emigration to the Far East should be a natural thing driven by the Market. The only handicap is North Korea´s sluggish economy.

Russia needs a Bilateral Financial Agreement with Germany.

Insterest rates in Germany are 1% while interest in Russia are 12%.

So Russian companies could borrow money in German Banks while German capital (deposits) could be invested in Russia (12% annual profit)

If one thing Russia has to learn from Chavez it is the illusion and satisfaction that according to polls like Pew and the Latinobarometro Venezuelan citizens enjoy even if their level of life is lower than the Russian.

Apart from the weather what is the psichological reason why Venezuelans or Argentines are more satisfied while Russians are one of the less satisfied people in the World no matter if a decade of groth has past.

The level of satisfaction and happiness is important as it is a first step towards creating a family and undertaking the necessary effort to start a business.

Sochi 2012 and Vladivostok 2014 are good initiatives to foster optimism in the Russian citizen but there are deeper reasons that have to be studied to promote the happiness and satisfaction of the Russian citizen. Not just economic.

Legalisation of illegal immigrants in the Russian Federation will give a clear idea of what is the real population of Russia and, at the same time, guarantee that they pay their share to Social Security.

In Spain and the U.S. legalisation of illegal immigrants hasve enlarged the base of the Social Security funds.

Russia should free the Rouble & allow it to be convertible. More countries & their citizens will then prefer to hold it as a reserve currency even in a currency basket.

Russia needs economic allies to help stabilise the Russian economy.
Russia should avoid isolationism & its twin protectionism. Free trade will enable the volume of bilateral trade.

Dear Friends of the American Monetary Institute,

First a belated Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Seasons Greetings to all!

2008 was nasty in terms of the financial establishments long term harming of the American People becoming visible to all. Many have long realized the damage that was being done; now there’s no excuse for anyone to not see it - especially Congressmen!

The positive part of 2008 is we are closer to achieving monetary reforms than since the Great Depression. The developing financial devastation has begun to open minds to the great need for monetary reform.

Some in Congress still believe that infrastructure expenditures are all that is needed (Forget the ones who don’t even want that - they won’t be around for long!) but our best legislators understand this is the time for real monetary reform.

One of the clearest statements on how to do this ever delivered on the House Floor was made Friday by Congressman Dennis Kucinich. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AR2EtMteHCg&feature=channel_page

Watch it over and over this Sunday! Email it to your friends and ask them to watch it, and to further email it to their friends, etc. Folks, this is the real thing. Help publicize it. Do what you can to support it. Understand monetary reform by reading the American Monetary Act at our website:
http://www.monetary.org/amacolorpamphlet.pdf

Stay in Touch in 09 friends. Its going to be an important year for monetary reform. We do need and rely on your help.

With very best wishes for a great 2009,
Stephen Zarlenga

I think Russia should warn Obama that Comrades Goldman Sachs and the other FED bankers could be setting him up.
Tell Obama that he must not only look at the USA; he must look gearing relationship that these bankers have setup between China and the USA.

I believe this whole financial crisis is because the FED couldn’t decide whom it works for, its present market (USA) or its future market (China).
If we just forget the non-Americanism of the FED for a moment, I think it now means that economically China and the USA (because of the financial “instruments” these bankers have set up) are behaving as “one economy”.

I think its an amplifier, there’s a trip point, so looking inward at the USA only, they going to take measures to devalue the dollar by 20%, they stimulate the economy, but if the effects of Comrade Bush’s “gearing engine” are not taken into account, the dollar wont drop 20%, it will flat line.

Kind of explains why the republican comrades have not stimulated the USA economy yet.
What Obama now does, is going to have more influence on Russia and the world, than anything we do.

I think we need another global reserve currency, it’s the only way to get out of this mess that FED Comrades, Goldman Sachs and Bush has created.

Anyway, if I’m right, when Obama starts correcting, at some point it going to freefall, and this planet will flat line.

Obama has to be very very careful now because I think a sneeze may cause an earthquake.

I agree, dollars will be worthless soon. I don't see any single currency taking over as the world's reserve currency. Maybe there will be regional currencies or "baskets" of currencies, and the "BRIC" could be one of them.

Russia can invest heavily in dollars and euros.

That is their best bet. Russia needs protection against itself.

That will minimize the slowdown or perhaps eliminate a repeat of their 1998 performance.

Russia is and should cooperate more within the BRIC,SCO and EEC Blocs to form alternative markets for goods and services, both manufactured as well as Commodity.
Reducing duties, taxes etc, encouraging financila flows will go a long way!
However Cooperation with EU, US, ASEAN other countries/Blocs cannot be avoided as thet form a major bulk of the markets.

Domestically RF should take up massive infrastructural projects and invest in building for the future...
As far as possible little or no pay hikes can be possible, compared to unemployment or lay-offs...

Inflation should come down, with the fall of fuel/food prices.

The main thing is not only of riding out these bad times, with hope for better ones...
...But even of converting these times from one of despair to one of oppurtunity!

Let us start 2009 correctly and evaluat quietly the situation. For the past half century, 5 % of humanité took the other 95 % for idiots. That joke must stop. It will never had taken place if we had remember the advices given by presidents Eisenhower and De Gaulle. One talked about not leting the military industrial complex take control of countries' governments. The other did not want to see the money of one nation become the trading currency for the whole world economy. Consequently, we have, all paid for the american hegemony and harrassing policies. Until now, the USA, only had to print more bills and everything was OK. The arrival of the euro was a first blow and it will produce the same situation if that money take the dollars'place. Russia must get rid of all dollars that she has on stock.
Then, with her friends of the BRIC make a commun curencie which cannot be the rouble or the yan. This money will have always exactly the same value as the euro; they could even merge. This will stop all spéculations. At the same time, under the leadership of the BRIC, we must create a World's average labor rate; as it exist for gas, farms'products
materials and oil. This will eliminate the abuses of men exploited by other men.
As I wrote before, we desesperatly need a new leadership and good example.
The american management is a total faillure. We can learn from it and not reproduce something similar. We may call that: human evolution.
Sincerely. JCM
