Daniela Loga

Daniela Loga is a business reporter and in-house journalist at RT.

She joined the channel in the autumn of 2006 as an intern in the newsroom. Her first steps into journalism involved covering stories about marine mammals in the former Soviet Union.

Daniela was born and raised in Southern California. She majored in Slavic Languages & Literatures at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she studied Polish, Croatian, and Russian in tribute to her family history and heritage.

She later completed her higher education with an MA at St. Petersburg State University's School of International Relations. She focused on both the European and Asian directions of Russian foreign policy and economic relations, graduating with honours.

Daniela spends her spare time with friends and family. She says she also enjoys researching Russian consumer culture – namely by shopping.
