The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is the world's largest humanitarian organization. Founded in 1919, it sees its mission as “improving the lives of vulnerable people by mobilizing the power of humanity.” The International Federation comprises 186 Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, including the Russian one.
