The Skatalites are one of the most famous ska bands in the world. They were the first to create the original Jamaican sound from the mixture of boogie-woogie, blues, calypso, African rhythms, R’n’B and jazz. They successfully promoted this style by working with such stars as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Toots & the Maytals and many others.
