Man sinks marriage by looking at wife’s face

A Saudi wife is demanding a divorce after her husband tried to see her face. Over the three-decade marriage the woman never revealed her features as the tradition of her native village commands, reports Britain’s Daily Mail.
The man was overtaken by curiosity and one night tried to sneak under his wife’s veil.
That was a big mistake, as his 50-year-old spouse woke up and caught him red-handed.
Despite the ashamed husband’s apologies the infuriated woman insists on divorcing now.
Islamic laws demand women to veil their features in public, but they are normally free from such compulsion in private.
Hiding faces even from family members is a tradition for a tiny minority of the Gulf women.
