The television series 'Sex and the City' won fans across the world. Viewers loved the characters and Manhattan, but most of all they loved the clothes. They were styled by New Yorker Patricia Field, with some help from Russian designer Helen Yarmak.

Known for being bold and daring, both women are internationally recognised on the fashion scene.

The women stitched together a relationship years ago, when Patricia Fields began dressing Sex in the City characters in Yarmak’s furs.

Field says much of her inspiration comes from Russian culture: “The Russian people influenced me in a way of underscoring and underlining that life is to be enjoyed. And from the enjoyment and that attitude, creativity comes,” she said.
