Making the urban jungle stylish and affordable

Smart fashion: elegant and laconic, practical and affordable – isn’t that what a modern girl needs? Larisa Kalistratova, designer and creative director of Personage, makes clothes for all occasions.
”This collection is rather laconic, but the fit is not so plain. It completely corresponds to modern tendencies. This is how I see a modern young lady.”
The designer says she creates collections always reflecting on her:
“I ask myself: what I’d like to wear, how I’d like to look, what a modern woman needs in different life situations?”
This is not haute couture – this is something you need, when you look up your wardrobe on Saturday morning before meeting your friends. Being at the same time stylish and bright, the clothes from this collection are very practical.
“All those posh furs like mink, chinchilla or fox, are a bit overexposed. We wanted to make something fresh.”
The prototype of the collection is “a modern hunter-girl from a mega city, like Moscow, who likes to act sort of wildish,” Kalistratova describes. “This winter we also introduce lacquered fabrics, which add a futuristic accent to the look.”
The collection is ‘graphical’. The dominating colors are black, grey, different hues of white from lacteous to bright white, but this grayish mood of winter is diluted with bright spots of red, fuchsia, deep blue and glossy textures – silver and black.
Next fall-winter Larisa Kalistratova advises wearing straight silhouette dresses, tunic dresses with tight-leg trousers and ‘oversized’ coats and costume pants.
The brand is focused on fashionable intellectuals – bright, self-confident girls whose external shape is the extension of their individuality. Russian actresses, writers, TV presenters are among the brand’s customers.
There are 22 Personage boutiques in Russia at the present moment. In addition, brand Personage is represented in 237 multi brand shops around the country.
