90 years in the life of Alexander Solzhenitsyn

A collection of the books and photographs of Alexander Solzhenitsyn, the legendary Nobel Prize-winning Russian novelist, opens in the Russian capital in the State Literary Museum.
The rare photographs feature the Soviet Union labor camp survivor and author of “The Gulag Archipelago” over his entire life. The writer died of heart failure in 2008, aged 90.
The main idea behind the exhibition in memory of Solzhenitsyn is to put on display some 234 editions of his works, translated into 34 languages and published in 70 countries.
The selection of Solzhenitsyn’s books, photographs and autographs will travel all across Russia and overseas.
