“Voodoo People” in Moscow

“The Prodigy” are getting ready to rock the stage in Russia, in what promises to be one of the most highly-anticipated live entertainment events of the year.

The cutting-edge flamboyant British musicians have agreed to play gigs in Moscow and St. Petersburg as part of their world tour. The electronic music gurus will present their latest album “Invaders Must Die” in Russia in October.

The Russian organizers of their show told Ria Novosti agency that the show in Moscow could be “one of the largest-scale raves” ever held in the Russian capital.

The band, which will turn 20 years old next year, have become Moscow regulars. In 1997, their open-air gig in Red Square drew over 20,000 fans. “The Prodigy” were expected to hit town last year, but their concert in December was canceled due to technical reasons.
