An organic combination of fashion and sports turned out a great show on the RFW’s catwalk, featuring male-models on exercisers and a girl on a sports bike closing the show.
A joint project by pARTner project Sport and Moscow’s Kudo club has presented the “KO” collection spring-summer 2010 at RFW, developed by invited designer Sultanna Frantsuzova.
One of the cofounders of the project, silver medalist of World Kudo Championship, Denis Sinyutin, told RT’s Diana El-Bakri about how it was made. “This collection was created for people with an active position – conducting a healthy way of life, taking great interest in sports, people full of energy.”
This was a debut of Sultanna Frantsuzova in Sports wear and in men’s wear at the same time. “She took the offer to make a collection for us with great enthusiasm… In this collection you can see her view of a young strong healthy person,” Denis Sinyutin says.
Most of the collection was made for men. Purely sports outfits are supplemented with a wide spectrum of day-to-day wear – comfortable and fashionable these are clothes that can fit average man who goes for sports and at the same time wants to look stylish.
“The main idea is to promote sports among young people and make them look stylish and recognizable with the sports they do. We wanted to help making a sort of a service club, not only in sport, but also in the way people dress.”
“For me the main aim was to make a collection for normal men. For men who love women, ironical, and elegant. If you mix Humphrey Bogart from ‘Casablanca’, Sean Penn from ‘Sweet and Lowdown’ and Johnny Depp from ‘Cry-Baby’ you’ll get the new ‘KO’ collection,” Sultanna Frantsuzova said about her latest work.
