Medvedev arrives for China talks

China has laid on an elaborate ceremony to welcome Russia’s Dmitry Medvedev, who’s on his first trip abroad as President. The visit is being seen as a sign of Russia’s strengthening ties with Asia. Hundreds of Chinese troops are lining Tiananmen square in Beijing to welcome Medvedev.
